This page walks through how you need to update the Fact Tables in EZdemand
Overview
Fact tables are used in EZdemand to help with performance. When updates are made to the history, budget or statistical forecast data we need to refresh the fact tables. There is a program that can be run to update the fact tables. This program takes the data from the live history, budget and statistical and rebuids these fact tables.
Updating fact tables
Go to the Admin Home page
Go to the Data section and click on any of the "Refresh Fact Table" links
You can see the last time the refresh was run by looking at the date and time just under the link.
When to update fact tables
There are a few situations that require you to update the fact tables:
Updating the budget, history or statistical forecast tables.
Updating master data (e.g. IPLs, distributors, etc.)
